MY PHILOSOPHY

In my work with individuals, families, and couples, I embody a supportive and accepting approach with the notion that every person has the capacity to grow even when facing challenges along the way. During our therapeutic relationship, I draw from various types of therapy including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness Training. I am aware that for some, therapy can be threatening and uncomfortable to even consider, so I strive to create an atmosphere that is safe, comfortable and authentic. I truly believe in the positive influence of conversations that promote self-reflection, critical thinking and alternative perspectives to discover and enhance untapped skills and tools which can increase life satisfaction. As we work together through whatever challenges influenced your decision to consider therapy, I hope to assist you in reducing suffering and enjoying abundance and happiness.
